We have 'drop-in days' on Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 10am - 4pm.  Appointments available on request on other days.

Treasurer Trustee needed

We are currently seeking a Treasurer Trustee to join our existing Board of Trustees at a particularly exciting and significant period in our growth and development. 

The Board is responsible for governing the charity: offering direction and strategy; ensuring the charity complies with the governing document and acts in the charity's best interests; that resources are managed responsibly; to ensure the charity is accountable; and that services are delivered to the highest possible standards. 

The primary focus of the Treasurer would be to assist and support the Board in monitoring the financial administration of the charity and reporting in compliance with the governing document. 

Proven financial knowledge, understanding and experience is essential for this position (AAT qualification preferred).

Trustees meetings are held bi-monthly, usually on a Wednesday afternoon.

Please note that our monthly drop-in sessions for BSL users are held on the first Thursday of the month at our Eastbourne centre, 8 St Leonard's Road; 9am - 11am.

Hearing Aid Maintenance
FREE Hearing Aid Maintenance and battery replacements (for NHS hearing aid users ONLY) are now available from our Resource Centre, 8 St Leonard's Road, Eastbourne on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10am to 12 midday and 2pm to 4pm.
